John Wilkinson Sporting Complex at Bolwarra needed a new Park!
The Challenge
This project is located on top of a hill directly above the Hunter River in a public space, it’s frequently used for sporting events and leisure activities by the general public. A considerable amount of materials were required and the boundary is quite small.
The Solution
Our Team ensured there was no obstruction to the public space during construction through meticulous planning and communication. All possible precautions were taken resulting in works being completed with no environmental incidents.
Scope of Works:
- Site management, including subcontractor management, traffic control implementations & managing all site HSEQ.
- Bulk Earthworks.
- Detailed excavations and preparing areas for play equipment.
- Concrete works – Stairs + Footpath + Bike Track + Hardstand areas.
- Stormwater drainage infrastructure.
- Sandstone retaining walls with handrails.
- Landscaping (re-spreading of topsoil, turfing, and appropriate revegetation).
